FEEDBACK QUESTIONNAIRE

Your feedback will help us to understand the priorities and aspirations of the local community as we bring forward our outline proposals for Bratton Green.

Once you have had an opportunity to read an overview of the emerging plans, and view the interactive concept masterplan, please take a moment to complete our feedback questionnaire below.

Please ensure feedback is submitted by midday on Friday 13 June 2025 to ensure that it is taken into account as we prepare to submit an outline planning application.

If you would like to be kept updated on the emerging proposals, the subsequent planning application and statutory consultation carried out by Telford & Wrekin Council, as well as progress with the plans, please ensure you select “Opt-in to email updates” at the end of the form.

General principle

Noting that the site is identified as an allocation to meet housing and employment needs over the next 15 years by Telford & Wrekin Council in the emerging new Local Plan, do you welcome our broad approach to Bratton Green, aiming to deliver on the aspirations of the Local Plan?

Illustrative masterplan

Mindful that the illustrative masterplan is for indicative purposes at this early stage, do you have any comments on the suggested layout?

New homes

We envisage a range of house types. What is your priority for the types of homes that you would like to see delivered?

Comments

The new homes will be built to Future Homes Standard and be net zero carbon ready. Is this important to you?

Local Centre

A range of community facilities are proposed at the Local Centre, in addition to the new primary school. What would you like to see provided if possible?

Green infrastructure

Do you welcome proposals for a linear park and extensive green corridors accommodating public walks and cycle routes?

The emerging outline proposals are shaped by the existing landscape, with the vast majority of existing trees and hedgerows retained and augmented with extensive new planting to deliver biodiversity net gain and contribute to Telford & Wrekin’s vision to become a Forest Community. Do you welcome this approach?

Play and recreation

In addition to play areas throughout the neighbourhood, the proposals for Bratton Green includes provision of sports pitches, courts and a clubhouse/pavilion. What type of sports provision would you like to see here?

Do you know of any local grassroots sports clubs that might be interested in establishing new homes at the proposed facility?

Heritage

We want to ensure that Bratton Green reflects the history of the locality, particularly RAF Bratton. Do you have any memories or anecdotes relating to RAF Bratton that could feed into the public art or street naming strategies for Bratton Green?

Access and travel

Do you welcome our broad approach to promoting connectivity with Telford, including speed limit reductions, mobility hub, potential bus routes and enhanced active travel routes?

Are there any specific areas of the local transport network (walking, cycling, buses, vehicles) that you think could benefit from improvement as part of this development?

Employment

The proposals for Bratton Green includes 2 ha of employment space which is required by the proposed allocation for the new sustainable community. Do you welcome this?
